BNSF 9892Heads up from GLC392 mentioned that E945 was departing Grand Rapids westbound. Headed out on lunch in Holland, ran down to the depot. Had a few minutes before the train arrived, and saw a girl getting some shots of the caboose at the depot. Surprisingly enough, was a local railfan and was happy to hear there was another coal empty coming. Nice to talk to you for a bit Sara. 03/29/13~Z~Mar 29, 2013

CSXT 2756Y12128 heads southwest around Anthrax Curve (west leg of the wye) in Holland. Has to head into Waverly Yard, and off to Saugatuck to work. 03/28/13~Z~Mar 29, 2013

BNSF 9240Heavy snow storm with 30+ mph sustained winds made it hard to see the train clearly until it was within 30 feet of the grade crossing. Many drifts throughout town, black ice under the snow on the streets...well worth it to drive in that mess though to see a sight like this loco popping out of the snow. CSXT 2659Had a free night, debated between seeing if Y121 was going to work Holland's dock track, or heading to GR to see if the west side job was working. After a short delay with them at Taco Town, here they are southbound over the Grand River with minutes before the sun went behind the trees. 10/05/11~Z~04/07/13 at 20:53J T: Leaning to the right.
