Grand elk North through Byron Center at 7:17pm. Wamx 4125 and wamx 4124 and 40ish cars. Good mix of boxcars, tank cars, and covered hoppers.
Back south at 10:01pm, WAMX 4124, WAMX 4125, and 45 cars. They likely have a slow order around Buck Creek as they slowed to a crawl as they neared it tonight.

LIRR out working today. Currently on the CN Lapeer siding picking up four loaded plastics hoppers for Delta Faucet.
CN dropped the four off on top of the five empties already there on the spur so they will have to pull all nine, cut the empties off and add the five empties to the two they just pulled from Delta before shoving back to CN.
They will then shove 7 empty cars back to the interchange with CN.

Around 5:45 this evening the GDLK was NB approaching Schoolcraft. Seventeen cars. Does anyone know if this was a local or the train from Elkhart to Kalamazoo? If I had thought a bit more quickly I would have been able to see it crossing the diamond.
Trails to Rails. Put the track back.

Jim, GDLK was northbound. Saw them stroll by here in Byron Center slowly at probably 12:30am or so this morning. Didn't check the clock as they woke me up.

Re: Shortline Train Location Updates April 2022
My son said he heard them, I told him it was the trackmobile! I checked later and saw more hoppers and a line waiting to head west. But I never actually saw the engine! They have not gone east much this past week, so I guess it is not surprising.
