Shortline Train Location Updates Feb. 2022
Re: Shortline Train Location Updates Feb. 2022
Thank you. I was hoping that maybe one of their customers was shipping unit trains of something.

Throwback Thursday: Michigan Shore Railroad
5 & 6 years ago today, the former MS locomotive MMRR #2057 (now in MQT) coincidently ran on this day (February 17th) in both 2016 & 2017 with the sister MMRR #2019.
I've also recalled the CF&E #3885 (former MS loco) running on this day 8 years ago in 2014.
It's funny yet interesting how CF&E #3885 & MMRR #2170 sound alike in terms of 2170's amazing R3SL horn.
Talk about the good times of the variety of the MS power! (20:57 PM)

13:40 - 3926, 4049 and 4215 are NB crossing DhuVarren, heading to Osmer. Around 50 cars, 11 had 10 each of those 60' huge coated pipes.
These daytime runs by AARR giving me fits.

Sounds like the Elk going through Plainwell at 6:28PM. Not sure which way - I still had snowblower ear and only knew there were horns.
Trails to Rails. Put the track back.

SB LSRC mixed freight sitting in Novi's siding as of 13:36. Lead engines 540 and 5203, going elephant style.
Re: Shortline Train Location Updates Feb. 2022
Are CSX-LSRC engines still running through between Flint and Toledo?

GRE was in Lowell today, left around a dozen mostly CP hoppers. Sounded like a different horn, but I got there to late to see the engine.

They're supposed to be using both units unless something changed.
