Could be ANYWHERE along the CN line where it's double tracked.

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...
i hate the interstate and the infernal combustion engine
nothing is sweeter then the smell of coalsmoke in the morning
"hey are you waiting for a train too?"
Agree with AARR & Gov. Crappo (kind of), just west of the new Corey Yard, west of Dimondale/Millett, looking northeast, just east of Nixon Rd. headed downhill, I-69 overpass is in the background.

That's not at Nixon road. I see a crossover and a signal in this picture and the nearest interlocking to Nixon is Maple, several miles to the southeast.
That said, the location kind of looks like Mill (between Cory and Millet yard) but I have my doubts about that too. Mill is kind of far from any crossings a little difficult to access. The signal that I can see doesn't look right for the location, either.
I would guess somewhere around Port Huron/Tappan.
Jon Hall and Railcanon and FireMedic54 got it 395 picking up custums holds in the yard at port huron. Im standing right next to michigan road, Train is westbound, SD50F leading have to say goodbye to that loco they have been retired, Great guess's by everyone else thanks. Picture taken january 2005. Dig the Montana Rail Link SD45.
A very nice catch penncentral! GTW certainly gets some unique foriegn equipment.

Don't forget the high voltage lines and crossover..that'll help someone, but the rest of the scenery doesn't help at all.
Those lines are everywhere, too. Especially the west side of Lansing. ugh.

I was using the power lines as a clue, but west of Lansing they are on the wrong side for that picture.
Wasn't sure which side they were on in west Lansing since the power lines switch sides in Potterville:
