Dude built a "speeder" to explore the Goat Canyon Trestle in CA. Pretty entertaining:

I'm surprised given the number of "explorers" over the years it hasn't been torched yet.
No water and no access.

I’ve been wanting to explore it myself but it’s definitely a challenging hike with some of the tunnels having been locked or has had a collapse. Most I’ve seen you have to climb around the mountain terrain to avoid the tunnels

During the vid they show a photo or two of gated tunnels, but then when they do their ride, the only tunnel they couldn't get through was the final one with the collapse. So are they gated or not?

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

I fast forwarded through but didn't find the pics(seen this route too many times already).
I suspect the pictures are of the tunnel that crosses into Mexico.
The crossing into/out of Mexico being one factor why it will never see through traffic again.
