CSX GRE Train Location Update 10-26-07

The MMRR 24 is out of the house and tied on to the Navy 118 for a trip to Marne. It takes about an hour to get there so daylight shots might be available depending on when they leave and if there's a pickup at Standard. it looksa like CSX and NS both picked up last night but I can't see if anything was delivered.

I'm guessing that when they come back from the lumber yard pickup/dropoff, they've got the cars leading as they come back to the yard?

They'll pull the cars out of Standard on the way and take them to Marne, run around, leave the 118 and pull the empties back to Van's back in and pull the empties from there. If they have loads for Standard or Van's, the train will be longer

No, I meant in general when they just go to Vans. Since there is no runaround track there, do they just back down the tracks back to the yard or actually go to Marne so they can run around it?

Yup, got into the parking lot at work at 1:40pm, heard Y121 asking the dispatcher to go to Zeeland.. and the clouds cleared up even.. poop.

Theres a double ended siding along the main with the spur off the siding into the north Meijers building. They can run around if they want.
