I’d buy the crew wet burritos from the Beltline Bar if I ever was able to see em running on this line.
Grand Elk northbound all stop at 7:11 pm on the 68th St crossing. Looks like it was a train vs car incident from where I am

I am able to hear the train engine from where I am

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

Grand Elk Job 303 northbound @ 8:07pm still stopped. I made that mistake since the winds blew the engine noise a different way

I biked across the pedestrian/bike bridge by M-6 / US-131 junction and saw the headlights of the leading northbound on all dim mode. I also saw a bunch of teens graffiti the walls again

Saw the train northbound earlier. Ran up division to get some Greco's pizza, didn't look left as I crossed 68th. Hope pedestrian is ok. Google maps show tracks still blocked as of 8:25pm.

It appears that the individual who was hit did not survive.
