CSX GRE Train Location Update 10-24-07

All quiet at the GRE. CSX did a pickup and delivery. I can see at least 1 hopper (Amway) behind the usual Amtrak. No visit by NS. UST is still carpooling - must be starting later because the cars are not there on my way to work but are there on the way home.

Trackwork on the Saginaw Sub looks really good, they replaced a lot of crossings, most of them done with wood since it last longer. Replaced a lot of ties, and rail as well. Both north and South of Plymouth, and East. Track really looks good.

Y121 is working Windquest currenty. Next stop will be the elevator at Harlem.

K909 east cleared the west end of Fox at 1pm. No idea what they were hauling or if it was just light power. They were haulin' arse, though. I was at Dehoop and 28th St. and heard them clear Jefferson. I started heading east down 28th and by the time I got to K-zoo Ave, they were already clearing Fox.

Heard Y121 while I was eatin my taco bell..heard them headin north, but didn't have time to chase them.

JT, K909 should have just been light power. Looks like they are on their way to Lansing to get stone empties.
