JAIL was NB across the CN diamond at CP Cedar around 10:15 today with 822 solo. They had 8 cars for CSX and then grabbed 20 plastics hoppers to give to CN. They grabbed four cars from CN and had three to pickup at CSX on their way home.

On Wednesday the Indiana Northeastern will be pulling out of Coldwater and will head south. Unsure of time but will post when known.

Time is now known. Indiana Northeastern crew on duty in Hillsdale at 6am they will have to drive to Coldwater. 1601 leading

From my workplace in Grandville off of 44th, I can hear Grand Elk blowing down around 68th/76th. Not sure which direction they are going.

2:23pm edit: horns are getting louder. Now sounds like maybe 54th they are crossing. NB it is.

Correct JT on the northbound GDLK. WAMX 4002, WAMX 4206, and maybe 20-30 cars, north around 2:10pm in byron center.

NB run had 45 cars. Saw this exact same line of cars connected with the SB Run with CSX grain hoppers behind the engines

Grand Elk 303 @ 5:30pm was seen at Hughart Yard with 2 engines and about 20-40 cars connected.

I haven’t heard them pass 54th St at 7:00pm

AFAIK Advanced Drainage still gets rail service a couple times a month or so.

Grand Elk horns heard in the distance in Wyoming 44th St area at 8:46am. Multiple horns heard, unknown direction of travel

8:48am, sounds like they are heading south. Horns growing louder.

8:51am, more horns heard, maybe like at 54th St. engineer horn tapping.

Curious what industries Grand Elk serves in Wyoming area. Wondering if this Grand Elk local is on the Hastings track heading towards 36th St
