I think I just heard a horn as I was out back at work. Certainly sounded like their horn off in the distance. SB already?

JAIL JL-1 w ADBF 822 solo w 32 empties for NS is sitting at Mechanic Street in Jackson waiting for permission from Amtrak. They will pull at least 12 loads NB out of Jackson.

ADBF also running today. They pulled 42 loads from MAC Blissfield to Adrian. Then going to Lenawee Jct to pull 43 loads from there to the NS interchange.

Back south at 5:00pm even, so exactly 4 hour turnaround. WAMX 4124, WAMX 4125, and 24 cars. Mostly boxcars and then covered hoppers, with a couple tank cars.

Just passed Byron Center northbound at 3:19pm with tankcar's consist. Maybe a few less cars, could have stopped at Bay Valley. Didn't count as I was explaining to kiddo about graffiti and how they aren't supposed to paint over the car numbers.

Not that I noticed. Just he was asking if people were allowed to paint the cars, and I was just letting him know they aren't supposed to, and definitely not supposed to cover over the numbers.
