D706-05 @ 12:57 eastward reported by DD mp CH126.3 with 188 axles. CSX engines #5220 + #5452 & 44 cars (27 loads + 17 empties). He has work in Lansing.

Q326-05 @ 11:56 eastward reporting stalled on Saugatuck Hill approx mp CG32.5 with CSX engines #406 + #27 & 116 cars.

Holland has had some freezing rain before the snow started. I wondered if that would cause issues for Q326-05 today.

Q326-05 on the move & is clear of the hill @ 13:25 Oh yes, snow, rain, freezing rain not good for that hill. Any train over 10,000 tons is supposed to have pushers added, but, they've stalled out before with lesser weight and not ideal conditions.

Good to hear the powers that be decided to run D700 with two locos now.. now they were able to use d700 to give q326 a hand. Compare that to a dry day a month or so ago when q326 couldn't get up the hill, and d700 got to watch as they waited a few hours for a D800 job to spin and bring two locos down to help. D700 only had one loco that day and watched from Saugatuck.

D708-05, set off 16 scrap empty cars for Thai Summit today who continue to hoard loads for weeks, which gives 39 cars in the plant. Quite a good amount not as many as the 51 cars they had there at one time before.
