All mines closed by governor in West Virginia today!
Governor orders all mines in West Virginia to shut down after 2 more miners die in separate accidents.
Who thinks this'll affect some coal production and transport.....

Let me stop all of you and remind you all that several mine accidents have happened in that state in the past 4 weeks and several people have been hurt and or killed. I think its a great idea and agree the mining saftey rules and such nedd to be reworked. Canada had a mining accident last week and every person walked out fine because they were prepared for it.

"The whole thing took only about 25 minutes, and then they told us to go back to work,"
Its called a safety meeting. Should be done regularly.
2. You know nothing substantial will be done. MONEY TALKS
Coal provides nearly 60 percent of West Virginia's business taxes.

"It's certainly true that if MSHA (the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration) were enforcing the laws and regulations on the books vigorously, we believe coal mines would be a lot safer than they are now."
MMRR-24 probably knows more about politics than alot of people on this board does. If I remember right he is planning on a future in it
