Re: CN South Bend/Flint Sub
As far as 2 railroad lines in Battle Creek: Other than CN, there is the former NS line now owned by MDOT. Amtrak operates and dispatches it. NS has trackage rights over MDOT from Town Line in Dearborn to BO Tower in Kalamazoo for freight service. West of Wayne, there is little NS traffic which woul...

Re: Snow Yard in Lansing, MI
Why would they do that with both Battle Creek Yard and Bristol Yard (Flint) just down the line? I believe Lansing currently just has the local crew for R933 switching 4-5 local industries (Citizens, Lansing Asphalt, Biewer, Land O'Lakes-Purina, UFP), the JAIL interchange, and the GM Delta Assembly p...

How many customers are located in the complex of plants west of Delta? I count at least three different companies that could be using rail service all on the cluster of property north of the NS and west of the IORY. https://railroadfan.com/wiki/index.php/Indiana_%26_Ohio#DT.26I_Subdivision_Customers

Discussed recently on the Michigan board: http://railroadfan.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=39428 When I used to drive to Elkhart and surrounding areas for delivery work on the regular, the E&W from Elkhart ran right by one of my stops. They were ALWAYS running Tuesday and Thursday. Not once did the...

Anyone have any type of timing or schedule for the Port Inland Railroad or the mining railroad at Cedarville? I believe both are now mostly inaccessible to the public, unless you trespass. I think the Cedarville operation does cross at least 2-3 public roads via bridges. Timing or schedule varies. ...

The pebble lime from Graymont should be the only traffic interchanged with CN.
I've always wondered if Port Inland (Carmeuse) brings cars to the interchange or if CN runs down to the plant?
