Michigan Central RoundhouseMichigan Central Roundhouse in Windsor Ontario along Howard Avenue across the street from the former Devonshire Horse racing track. Torn down in the late 1980's, to be replaced by a shopping plaza creatively named "The Roundhouse Center", across from the equally creative "Devonshire Mall".
Neither location gives any tribute or sign to signify just what they are named after.

Ex Wabash engineThis engines origins are a bit of a mystery. We're pretty sure it's a Wabash from the Detroit area, but the builder plate has been removed.
The stenciling on it reads AKMD 317. Before that it was MW(?)X. The search continues.

Essex Terminal #103#103 is also in the process of restoration. This engine is only in need of batteries but runs like a top when she's got them. The cab at some point, had an encounter with a hopper car, twisting the cab. It may be something we have to live with.ETR#101

Under the paint ETR #101Under years of paint, the beautiful stained hardwood makes a showing after being hidden by the headlight shroud in 101's cab. With any luck, this can be restored.
You can certainly tell the same builders of steam engine cabs had a hand in these designs as well.
