Anybody hear if Garrett yard is being shut down? Didn't know if any other boards had reported same?

Re: Garrett Yard
Garrett yard, Lafayette yard, and Wyoming yard are the ones I know of that recently lost their on-site yard masters and were remoted.

Lafayette still has its yard masters. They will be controlling Garrett when after the yard masters leave there.
Re: Garrett Yard
Seems odd to have a yardmaster on a different line controlling another yard.
Re: Garrett Yard
Wyoming yard master is now from Detroit (Rougemere).

Re: Garrett Yard
All of the above yards are still in service. They no longer have on-site Yardmasters.NickThatRailfan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 12:20 am
