That car coming up surprised me! Good effect!Mr. Tops wrote:Just as good as the real thing! I have a question...who was driving that car?Mr. Tops wants to see more!
No pics of the whole layout yet. Not a lot to see but if I get stuff cleaned up I'll take some.Scooterb wrote:Great videos BB do you have any shots of the whole layout?
Totally agree with that. Most of the O scale layouts I see on TV have their trains going fast especially around sharp curves. Here's the fastest engine on my roster. http://webpages.charter.net/d712/Movie_0052.wmvSousaKerry wrote:Man that was awesome makes me wish I still had my old modular layout to give it a try, I especially like how you kept the train speed down to a more prototypical speed, Too often a great model railroad is ruined by the modeler running his train at full throttle 110mph like the thing weighs nothing and totally destroying the illusion they are trying to portray.
Keep up the great work.

How about who's driving this car.Mr. Tops wrote:Just as good as the real thing! I have a question...who was driving that car?Mr. Tops wants to see more!
Layout first started out as a 4'x8' board for a electric race car set and then I put a train set up and over the years added some more bench work and now I'm building around the walls of the basement. Mostly CSX since I grew up with that but have locomotives from other roads.sd70accsxt700 wrote:Hay BB, how bouts some low down on the layout. Is it fictonal, based on a real line, ect. From what I have seen of it, it looks like heavy CSX influnce (oh wait is there any other?).
The car is a Pontiac Firebird for a $1.67 at a Wal-Mart in Iowa. Finally cheap HO scale vehicles for a layout.Railzfan wrote:What an awesome video! The car adds a “super real” effect. Great job!!!
