The classic Nebraska Zephyr train set made two round trips from Chicago to Quincy over the weekend which many fans were out shooting. In my case I was able to pop shots on both days covering Mendota and Galesburg. Here's the first one I have up from Sunday in Mendota:

Great shot. Parked next to the steamer is totally realistic, too. The NZ was one of the first streamliners out there, and spent many hours next to steam competition.
I'm still kicking myself for not making this trip. Oh well, hopefully there will be something just as cool in a few years.
