RIP MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer. Such an influential band and guitar player. Hard to find a band who doesn’t cite him as an influence

Earl Cureton, stand out Detroit high school and U of D basketball player, had a nice career in the NBA, community advocate, broadcaster and all around good guy passed away suddenly over the weekend at age 66.

I’m gonna be 100% honest. I cried a little bit when I woke up to this. I grew up listening to my dad and grandpa playing this, and his music was amazing for curing the pain of the breakups I’ve gone through. I’ve seen a lot of loss in the music world but this one hits the closest to me.
