This idea for a PSA promoting Operation Lifesaver was spawned from a SUPER close call I had witnessed at Opdyke/Kensington Roads in Bloomfield Hills, I can't thank enough Mr. Ronald Wittebols (Station Manager of 88.1 WBFH Bloomfield Hills) for his help in the production of this.

In case anyone wants to hear it, here's the link to the audio:

Dunno if you needed the part at the end stating "this message is brought to you by me, David Collins" when you opened the message with "I'm David Collins".

What Z really wanted you to say at the end that PSA is this. This message was provided to you as a public service by railroadfan.com

Quick Update: I found out a few days ago that this PSA won 4th place nationwide for the John Drury awards! The John Drury awards were created to recognize excellence in high school radio broadcasting for those who don't know.

I would like to thank WBFH station manager Ronald Wittebols (who lurks on this website quite a bit) for this award, who helped putting the final product together.

Possible career change to radio for me?
