A good guess but not Bay City, head west. A less remarkable spot on the GTW. Between the tracks was a brick roadway. It looked as if back in the day they handled LCL traffic here. By the 70's the tracks were mostly there along with a scale. It was rarely used at that point. The track was pulled up in the 80's in a grade crossing elimination project.

That's the area. The brick building was on Michigan Ave. The Pennsylvania was behind the photographer. The GTW (Chicago & Kalamazoo Terminal) is in the picture and beyond that was the New York Central. The GTW yard track was pulled up when the CK&S out to Lake St was pulled up in the 80's.

A Google image search will turn this up straight away. But it's another interesting piece of railroad history. The building has been a foundry, a depot, a furniture store and today an office building.

Yes. One of two interurban depots still standing, both in good condition.

The interurban station on N. Rose Street at NW corner of W. Water Street. Kalamazoo. Now the PNC Office building.

Yes. But dont know what customer this would have went to when in use.

it is off the Conrail Terminal extention? Or off the one that goes down to the river.

It was connected to former Detroit Terminal Trackage and quite possible that Detroit Terminal was the last RR to use this spur, not Conrail.

That spur is near E McNichols Avenue and Dequindre Road, Detroit Correct?
