Yes, that the the Conrail SA spur line(Oakman Spur) that goes to the Kenwal Steel Corp. plant from connection with the CSX main line north of Rougemere Yard, Dearborn. that shot above is looking west along the spur line toward that connection from the Wyoming Avenue crossing in Detroit, Wayne County. The tall sign on the other side of the NS loco is belonged to the Detroit Auto Action Distribution Center.

Anyone recognize this lumberyard? Aerials show it has not had rail service since the '70's but the rails are still visible between the buildings

Looks like the siding crossed the road. Main line tracks look like they would belong to a short line.

It is not a short line. If you look close there is an old code line pole in the ROW. I also erased the milepost which would have given the location away.
If I posted a photo from this crossing many people here would immediately know the location. It used to be 2 tracks. There is an old box car sitting nearby.

Okie Dokie and thanks 80mac, As 80mac mentioned Northville Lumber yard is located on the north and Oakland County side of Base Line Road, just west of the CSX main line between north of Flint and Walbridge (OH) south of Toledo. Wayne County is on the south side of Base Line Road. All in Northville. That shot above is looking north. The lumber siding ran between the buildings and cross Base Line Road to a connection with the main line just south of that road. Final run of the remaining passenger train on the former C&O Railway line between Detroit and Bay City through Northville and Plymouth, was made on October 29, 1950.

This location is not in Michigan, in fact not even the U.S.
First photo was taken in 1971 when the railroad was still active.
