It sure looks a lot like this:

Well, crap. If Burb's answer had sunk in, I wouldn't have bothered posting. He obviously found it first.Burb8145 wrote:You two FINALLY got it!railrod1949 wrote:Burb8145 wrote:Too far west again.[/qu

railrod1949 didn't find it first... you answered with Lordstown, then railrod1949 changed his post with an incorrect guess to the correct one. He does that often...GreatLakesRailfan wrote:Well, crap. If Burb's answer had sunk in, I wouldn't have bothered posting. He obviously found it first.

Just curious. Why does Railrod always include the school district and zip code in all his answers. Anyone know?

Oh...boy do I feel dumb. I missed the fact that it was Rodney's post, not Burb's guess because Burb had posted the picture and was answering the responses... maybe I'll have to quit responding before drinking at least a couple cups of coffee first...~Z~ wrote:railrod1949 didn't find it first... you answered with Lordstown, then railrod1949 changed his post with an incorrect guess to the correct one. Am I the only one taking joy in getting some of these before Rodney can find them?

Top shot: Caboose At Woods N Things, 200 Hyne Street, Brighton, Mi 48116, just north of the CSX RR Plymouth Sub. My late great aunt and late great uncle (on my late mom's side) lived at the east end of Washington Street which intersect with the south end of Hyne street, just south of the CSX RR Plumouth Sub, Their grandkids attended the Brighton Area Schools district. I used watch the trains goes by there when I was a child.
Bottom shot: Caboose at 9370 Rawsonville Road, Belleville, MI 48111, south of Willis Road, in the Lincoln Consolidated Schools district, Augusta Township, Washtenaw County.

That's the spur line to the Fermi 2 Nuclear Power Plant, crossing Newport S Road in Frenchtown Township, between Monroe and Newport, The shot above is looking north. It's off the connection with the CN Shoreline Sub. All in Monroe County.

He's "Special Needs." Doesn't really care. just tries to impress everybody with his "knowledge" (computer based). Quick on the keyboard without double checking the info to verify the validity. Just look at all his "CORRECTION!'s"hoborich wrote:Just curious. Why does Railrod always include the school district and zip code in all his answers. Anyone know?

Re: Where Is It?
Correct Rodney. It was a new spot I found to see GLC go by recently. It is between Bunker Hill Rd. and Lautner Rd in the Acme area. A vast gap where I have lost a few train observations. Here is a Google Earth of the area.
