Nice. Another one came east on M326 today and I suppose might be going up on MQT tomorrow. D704, that’s a symbol that’s been out of use for years and is almost able to buy cigarettes now. No more D704 since Marquette Rail started in late 2005. MQT uses Z151 as their regular symbol on CSXT. Nice boxcar shot. That blue really stands out!

What symbol does Marquette Rail use after they get off CSX tracks?

They refer to the south end train as “Z151” or the “Z Train” even when not on CSX.

Here's a predecessor to the Pan Am Railway scheme. Back when MEC was no longer truly MEC but part of Guilford, it sported this black and orange scheme. These MEC cars seem to come up one at a time or so on M326 from Chicago but likely have a New England origin or destination.

I want to know when CSX will be debuting Pan Am, Guilford, Boston & Maine, Maine Central, and Springfield Terminal heritage fade schemes.

Interesting photo spot GP30M4216 you’re basically standing in what would’ve been my back side yard where I lived for 14 years.

Guilford, and PanAm were brainchilds of Timothy Mellon, so I really would hope that CSX would not honor the man who single-- handedly ruined RRing in New England.

Fair enough. I was never that thrilled about the Guilford scheme anyways. Kind of like Penn Central black, it had a grim reaper feel to it that the cheery orange stripe just couldn’t improve. But I’d still love to see a Minuteman and a Pine Tree grace a CSXT carbody!
