Tracking the car numbers was in Richmond Va. today.
Re: White Pigeon Grain Trains
Anyone know of any more updates on trains inbound to GR?
Re: White Pigeon Grain Trains
Yesterday, April 7, I saw an NS grain train come off the GDLK while watching Elkhart live Railcam on Youtube. So not all are going via CSX. I know of only one back in February.

If it goes to a receiver on NS it will go NS. If it goes to a receiver on CSX it will go CSX. Railroads are loathe to interchange if they don't have to and cut contracts to reflect same.

Re: White Pigeon Grain Trains
Just confirming - no further updates on CSX getting any additional grain for GDLK in White Pigeon, correct? Run one on CSX, NS fixes their pricing, and back to NS it goes, eh?

Sounds like that might've been the case.

Re: White Pigeon Grain Trains
First I'm surprised NS could have responded that quickly with lower pricing and second I'm surprised NS could beat CSX's rate for movements that terminate on CSX
