I didn't Get a Chance to check and see if the Grill was still in Durand, I had worked that night and I was pretty dead by about noon. I'm gonna try and get up there again soon and check to see if its there. James, I'm bringing Donuts I can get Coffee and Danish's cheaper, if you want to pay me back when I get there I can grab them from Timmies seeing as I work there and can probably get an Employee Discount

Since Dave(Railnut) won't be able to make it to the meet, I'll bring the burgers and buns. If a few others can stop on their way out and grab some chips and a 2 liter of pop, we should be all set.

I never said was was bailing..I was just letting everyone know that I may not be there...I may have a ride lined up..so no worries.
But a back up plan is good..but lets avoid the word "bailing"..gets my blood pressure up.......

Since I am new to railroadfan.com, is it still okay that I come to the spring meet? My Uncle and I might go. I belong to Durand Model Railroad Club, so I will be in there part of the time. If I can come, would you guys like me to bring some food?

ABSOLUTELY !!!!!!!!!!!!. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

THE MEETS ARE INFORMAL AND YOU CAN COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE.
ALL ARE INVITED AND NO FORMAL INVITATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
AS FOR FOOD, SOME BRING STUFF AND SOME DON'T. IT'S UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL.

Of course Ben. Anyone you know that's a railfan or just a buddy or whatever of yours is free to head on over. You don't need to bring food, unless you have something you want to share with others.

Bad, sad news traingirl21. Won't be bringing the freezer. The Meijer's close to my home stopped selling dry ice. So there won't be any ice cream. I'll bring a pack of wheat buns and turkey franks. Maybe steakburgers???

I've requested Mrs. Simon bake 4 dozen cookies and 4 dozen brownies...will that be enough?
