CN South Bend Sub MOW sighting

For what it's worth-
On my way back from eastern Chicagoland this afternoon, I happened to see some sort of front end-loader and several stacks of ties alongside CN's South Bend sub just off Mayflower Rd on the west side of South Bend. No photo- it just happened to catch my eye from the US20 by-pass as I drove by. I assume (yeah, it may be dangerous, but right now it's all I've got) that this is part of whatever continuing maintenance the company does on the line, but it was unusual enough that I figured I'd pass it along...
