Some more news for trains around the Holland area today...

As of 8:55am, D80109 and D80209 were at Wells working on pushing N90309 up to West Olive. Dispatcher was unsure if the pushers would stay on and ride to West Olive, or do something else.
The rail train is going to work Holland today. They are going to be laying rail on the siding in Holland, keeping the main and west leg of the wye open this morning for the coal and Q326 to get through. Afterwards, working on the Fremont sub at Roost Ave laying rail. I'll try to sit near there during lunch today to see if they are up at Roost.
D700 will be getting recrewed, but dispatcher wasn't sure as to who would be doing this.

Caught the numbers of the lead units of the northbound coal train at Riley St. at 10:30 AM - BNSF 5856, 9957. Missed seeing if there were pushers...

Watched D00710 dropping rail around 1:30pm up at Roost Ave(north side of Waverly Yard.) They had just laid their last bit of track, and were going to go around the wye, and off to Grand Rapids to tie up. Mighty windy, cold, and rainy out there today.

Did they send us any interesting power with that rail train? Is the same one that was here a couple of weeks ago?

Quite sure it's the same CSXT 6458 and CSXT 2246. Didn't actually get a good look at the power, as I was watching the rear of the train while I was out there.

Yes, and it looked interesting to me. I just wish I could have got a good shot of it. Nice and clean YN3 paint on those units.

Should be GP30 Road Slug #2246 and GP40-2 #6458 (both in Scheme 7/YN3 and both former B&O) for power. From what I heard, the B&O caboose is right behind the motive power.

Correct for power, but the train has been wyed since leaving Chicago. Arriving in Grand Rapids, the consist was as follows, motive power followed by 26 rail storage cars, 4 flatcars with rail loading and offloading equipment, 1 boxcar and the caboose.
