Years ago the Friday train from Bay City would park in Durand until Sunday then return to Bay City with the weekends interchange traffic from GTW/CN. I don't recall when they stopped that practice.

It has been reported on the Bangor chat that the Hamilton Northwestern was spotted in Holland Michigan on 01/14/2024 @ 18:35. I checked the grade crossings in the Holland area and can confirm that this is an accurate report.
