As of Noon today, there were still boxcars on the Otsego line. Crew must be spending a fun weekend in GR!

I just drove by Grand Elk Hughart Yard in Grand Rapids at 1 pm and I saw multiple WAMX engines sitting on 3 engines. I did see what appears to be WAMX #4225? in old UP paint scheme with multiple side panels being replaced or something at the engine shed. The other 3-4 WAMX engines I saw outside were 3531, 3534, 4125? or 4124? and maybe 4206.

JAIL Z646 ran north today to Lansing. Amongst the cars they left for CSX was ADBF 4043, the caboose w CV livery.

New reporting marks of PNLX 4043.

As of 8:00pm, I haven’t heard or physically seen GDLK Job 303 head southbound yet. Waiting over 1 hour and 20 minutes and no action yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ran south after I gone home as always.

Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart VR cam at 6:34am heading towards the Elkhart yard with WAMX 4209 and WAMX 4189 leading 40 cars. A mix of bad cars, covered hoppers, tank cars, an empty centerbeam, two empty gondolas and an empty “High Top” hopper car.

Quick turnaround as they just went by the VR cam heading back to Kalamazoo at 7:52am with the same power leading 23 cars. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars, two loaded centerbeams and an empty hopper car.

Z151-20 @ 12:53 heading northbound at Second NW CGE 1.2 in Grand Rapids with MQT #3408, MQT #3406, MQT #3389, MQT #2044 and 55 cars. He had a Pan Am boxcar in consist and a large 60ft CN boxcar. Nice conductor on board
