Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam at 10:27am towards the Elkhart yard with WAMX 4206 and WAMX 4209 leading 17 cars. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars and an empty center beam.

MQT SB at W Fulton St. around 11:00am. 3 engines and a long train. Looked like 40 or 50 boxes mid-train and maybe 90 cars total?

12:03 NB GDLK 303 Wayland mp81. Single WAMX 4189 with 12 cars.

North through Byron Center at 12:58pm with 11 cars. First was a tank car, then boxcar, and rest covered hoppers. 4189 was LHF.

NB 1:00pm Richmond St. around 30 cars.

Grand Elk back south through Byron Center at 2:45pm. WAMX 4189 still solo, 27 cars in tow, good mix.

JAIL ran NB into Lansing last night, working CSX, CN interchanges.

Meanwhile in Grand Rapids, MI:

Z151-02 @ 10:51am with MQT 3389, 3391, 3406, 3408 brought in 68 cars (55 loads and 13 empties) for Wyoming Yard. Had a train meet with CSX Y106 with CSX #6515 lite power heading east at Godfrey Ave mp 0.99

Z439-02 @ 11:02am westbound are Godfrey Ave mp 0.99 with WAMX #4190 and 3 empty cars (1 GATX tanker, 1 CSX boxcar and 1 LRS boxcar) to Wyoming Yard

Z439-02 @ 11:47am eastbound Godfrey Ave mp 0.99 with WAMX #4190 LHF and 5 cars (1 loaded centerbeam, 1 loaded covered hopper with pipes on the bottom, 1 empty CSX boxcar, 1 loaded CP boxcar and 1 loaded MRMX gondola)

Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam @12:08 pm heading towards Kalamazoo with WAMX 4209 and WAMX 4189 and 29 cars in tow. A mix of box cars, tank cars, covered hoppers, hopper cars and 2 loaded center beams.

There’s a train with a decent cut of steel coils and covered hoppers heading westbound on the Michigan line presumably destined for JAIL.

Wow, no large difference when I saw them depart Grand Rapids with MQT 3408, 3406, 3391, 3389 and 17 cars (5 loads and 12 empties) at 12:06pm

Note: GDLK Job 303 did not head south yet. I did not hear any horns from 5pm to 9pm.

Michigan Shore Z627-03 os Grand Haven TWP @ 10:22. MMRR 2170 is leading based on the horn. Should be going South

Only heard them. Don't know the consist today

GRE 2042 WB @ Turner 12:40, 1 tank and 1 hopper from AMWAY only.

Grand Elk went by the Elkhart cam towards the Elkhart yard @1pm with WAMX 4189 and WAMX 4209 leading 29 cars. A bulkhead car fully loaded with logs, some box cars, tank cars, hopper cars and covered hoppers.
