Q32806 this morning, while having only 52 cars, had the 32 auto rack cars that was on Q326 on Wednesday. On 326, they were all in a row, on 328 this morning, they were divided into three sections with misc. freight cars in between them. While yesterdays Q32905 was annulled, Q32906 went west at Howell before 04:00 with 108 cars but was picking up more in Lansing. The usual back and forth of late KCS units again. Potash train for Webberville was spotted before 22:00 overnight. 4761+43 was the power that brought it east.

whatever issues q326 had, they fixed.. sounds like they are around the IL/IN border as of 1:50pm. Later than usual at least. With the late arrival, I'd expect either q327 or q328 late to leave later.

KLWZ is Knoxville Locomotive Works, located down in Tennessee. They are a locomotive rebuilder, as well as remanufacturer. They have their own models of locomotive build on older EMD frames built to comply with (If I remember) Tier 2 or Tier 3 emissions.

D70806 went to South Lyon today to pick up I.C. 1027. By Howell westbound at 19:55. Earlier, when going east. G79906, grain load from Grand Ledge, passed D708 at Fowlerville, CSX 538+927. Plan was for the crew to take the grain load to Toledo as a pilot was supposed to be called to Pilot them south. Powers to be forgot to call the pilot so the crew taxied back to GRP from Plymouth.

What i assume is Q327 rolling west thru Zeeland at 2043 hrs. Kind of a sick sounding horn on the leader. Must have met Q326 at Hudsonville.

Q32907, CSX 4562+4743 with 73 cars by Howell at 10:40. Q328 this morning also had 73 cars with CN 8853 & UP 4930. An all EMD morning. Between these and the KCS units by several times this week, nice not to have GE units for a change.

I hear MQT is getting another new unit soon, 3413, the former DM&E 6201. 3413, along with 3414 & 3415 were still vacant numbers the last I knew on G&W, so perhaps they will be filling the other two slots soon.
