398 and 399 leaving Cadillac towards Clare at 0930 with 1 wood chip hopper, 1 pole load, 1 idler, 1 pole load, 4 wood chip hoppers and 3 tanks.

I find it odd the wood chip hoppers were separated.

Train on the old c&o in Clare near McEwen. Loaded beam car that was at leather truss last night was empty when I came by this morning and is gone now but isn't on the engines I could see from 127. 1345

399 and 398 returned at 1515. Had an obstructed view and was a few blocks away so couldn't get an accurate count. But 3 empty centerbeams came in for McBain, 2 empty pulpwood flats, around 10 cement hoppers and some DJJX gons. Took a trip to North Yard after work and DJJX 950876 is there along with one more and possibly a third hiding among all the tanks.

398 and 399 left Cadillac for Clare at 0950 with 2 wood chip hoppers, 6 tie loads, 7 tanks and 1 covered hopper.

The 3 Beacons are returning to TC together

Just wanted to give a shout-out to our resident CMU Chippewa - BE SAFE!! Just got word through our district email confirming a shooting at a residence hall on CMU campus.

UPDATE
Student being picked up by parents for spring break shot both parents, then fled on foot down the tracks.

I see it's at Campbell Hall, which is located right next to GLC's tracks. Saw a video of cops walking the tracks in Mt Pleasant, and things being in lockdown there as the gunman is still at large.

I went by Beacon about 1300, just 6 hoppers waiting to be cut up. No scrap gons yet. And where would they put them with the siding full of hoppers?

Does anyone know the status of ONTN given the shooting and subsequent manhunt at CMU this morning? That train should have been nbd today.

Plenty of room. Pull the 6 back out, spot gons at far end, put 6 hoppers back.

Thanks! I'm intrigued to see if the trains proceed and exchange cargo or the trains recrew tonight or tomorrow.

399 and 398 return to Cadillac at 1710. I wonder if they will run tomorrow to pick up the northbound cars.

Guess they were approved NBD to grab the Cadillac cars that were left at Rosebush by CSTN, or the train backed down to Shepherd and parked or dropped its cars and headed light to Owosso.

AANscalerunner, looks like potential for a Saturday run, and possibly another Sunday run to Yuma with those incoming sand hoppers.

Let the dogs out tonight shortly before 2100 and heard horns coming from Selma Yard. Southbound out of Cadillac at 2120. Guessing the Owosso-Clare turn came up this evening with a fresh crew and a quick turnaround.
