Amtrak 350 is stopped at milepost 49 on the michigan line, tree across the tracks

350 terminating at Detroit Woodward station today. Will reverse from Woodward to Vinewood and wye at Scotten then continue west as 355.

350 did have damage to the unit today, missing the beginners side ditchlights and had some obvious nose damage

350 is at Royal Oak now.

Amtrak 355 departed New Buffalo westbound a few minutes late, had AMTK thirty something leading, baggage car and some coaches.

On Saturday, March 18, 2017 Amtrak train #350/355 had AMTK 1159 baggage car on the train. This is ex-ATSF 3650 built in 1953. If this runs like it has all winter this car may be on this train for at least a week. Worth checking out.

Now looking back at the windows of the car in my video (shot in the dark), it looks like it was one of the new baggage cars on 355 on March 17th. Must have gotten switched out once it got to Chicago later that night.

Edit - Looking back on 2 times ago when I saw 355 in New Buffalo, it had a new baggage car as well. This was on February 17th.

364 is stopped at E. Durand.

351 departed from Troy, Michigan at 6am. AMTK 28.
