HESR 740 Job southbound clear of the Saginaw Yard limits at about 0952. They are heading for Durand. 2028 & 2029 for power.

GLC northbound into Durand at about 1420. GLC 397, 393, 395 & 396 with 9 cars. Sounds like they may be leaving two engines in Durand.

Per Mr Hall, GLC is getting ready to head south soon in Durand with the 396 and 395. HESR is also waiting on CN to head north out of Durand. They're heading north as the 701 despite coming into Durand as the 740.

It looks some of HESR's program is a little messed up with the current rail work going on in the Saginaw area. Sure looks like those guys are going to have a lot nicer ride. There is certainly less jointed rail in Saginaw and Bay City.

I remember seeing a Sperry car working the line last week I'm sot sure if that caused the speed restriction or if a flash flood warning prompted it...

Heard the 24 blowing around 13:30 across Leonard/Plainfield. Took awhile for them to get out of earshot, so I'm guessing they were slower then than usual as well.

GLC 399 and 398 into Cadillac at 1:30 this afternoon with 1 plastics hopper, 1 centerbeam and 7 sand hoppers. Sounded like they headed to Yuma shortly after.

I would imagine that must be a great gig on them sperry trucks. Go for a hi rail ride look at some computers stuff then tell the railroad they have a hunk of crap line and leave it slow orders galore....

LSRC Z127 is building the train for Flint, CITX 3100 and 3062 is the power.
Also of note, the loaded coal train that ran NB last thursday hasn't been dumped yet. 2 tracks to dump at Consumers.

Checked out GRE trackage in Grand Rapids at Diamond Ave about 10:40pm for 5 minutes. No action on GRE at MP 156 while admin drank a quart of chocolate milk. Did see a rather meth looking woman at the gas station on Michigan Ave, no bra and ugly nipple poking through, that was quite the highlight.
