Hearing a train on CSX whistling through the east side of GR right now, sounds westbound and like a newer Gevo horn.

Coal trains do not fit at Michigan City.

Q335 at seymour at about 0542. Csx 7508 leading.

Looks like a couple for Amway at the GRE, 1+? on 371, couldn't count the Superoliners in the dark this morning,

Heard them at my house too. would have guessed MQT except I knew that wasn't the case. What's your reason for insomnia? Mine's buying a piece of real estate with a jackass attorney representing the seller I've got a couple good stories already on this one

High green seen at the Grange Hall Rd. crossing again this morning for NB while enroute to the station. Haven't heard anything so not sure if I missed them or not.

CSX 252 leading Q326 at Vriesland at 0848. There is also a D007 on duty at Wyoming.

Q326 met D700 in a rolling meet at Hudsonville about 8:52am. Heard dispatcher say that on the west end today, all she saw was Amtrak P37111, D70011, and an empty coal train at Grand Rapids to go west.. probably the e945 that conrailmike saw at Clyde last night?

Per cnw8835, E945's crew is on duty at noon, and will be ready to head west out of GR towards Holland/Benton Harbor at 1:30pm.

Hanging at 32nd st in Holland for e945.. they just got an approach at waverly... Wonder if they'll get banner tested again.
Havng no luck on timing. Signal problems at Holland, ballast regulator in the way, then needs to be talked by signal.

Caught E94510 at 15th St in Holland. Ballast regulator working at 24th St while they are running some wires under the rail. 32nd St also has new crossing signals that need to be cut in. Funny that there were a number of maintainers at 24nd st, yet E945 still had to stop and flag the crossing..lots of impatient motorists turning around in Holland, had a firetruck blocked as well.
D700 around Benton Harbor as of 2pm.

Z151 in the yard currently, 3002 4433 3001 and 3003 for power. Had 103 into Wyoming, sounds like around 60? going north. East end yard job is using HLCX 6215.

Talk about a busy night in GR. As Z151 headed out of Wyoming around the wye, Y297 came along engine light (2659) on main 2, headed for Hugart yard. As Z151 cleared Market St., Y106 came down main one with 6954 and 2354 (looked like a newer slug set) and 8 cars. As Y297 got in the clear on the runner, Z739 came out light engine with WAMX 3829. They ran over to Old 17 and brought back 7 with them to Hugart, while Y297 was in Hugart getting their pick up. So apparently now CSX goes and picks at Hugart and Grand Elk picks up at Old 17? Seems kind of redundant. As Z739 was headed back, D007 came in with 7508, 8446 and 2 ballast hoppers. Pretty decent evening.
