CSX GRE MQT Train Location Update 10-22-08
Looks to be quiet today at the GRE. They went to Lowell yesterday and looks like nothing in the yard today. The mechanics truck looked like he was leaving after the airtest at about 6:35. 36 pushing 371.

They have a set of CSX gons in their pool and started loading yesterday. Trucked in from I don't know where...yet, and going...I don't know where..yet.
It's been over 10 years since that plant closed. Great to see the railroad getting the additional business. Any idea how many tons of material to be moved?Quote:

D709-22 still at Ensel at 1407 is because of a late call today. After spending all day working Webberville to Fowlerville, they were forced to come east to Howell at 2130 last night to die because they needed the Fowlerville pass for a G010 grain load, which later turned into another G number for the trip to Toledo.
They did give D709-22 a recrew, but the recrew did not show up until midnight and by the time the original crew left in the PTI to go back to Ensel it was 1232am. This is about the time the crew is normally back at their homes. The kicker was, with no AnnPere pick up, if Interational Paper had not been ready for a switch (which often happens, but they were) the recrew would have almost beat the original crew back to Ensel, going via PTI.

Not in this case. Q33521 was annulled at Stanley due to the curfew at Wayne. There was too much GR traffic at Stanley to not run a train, so a s section was profiled.Doktor No wrote:How about S33522 Zack.

I'll look right now though. If it doesn't show up though that means a nice "friday' for the gang at the west end too!

If the only thing the were concerend with is hiding late trains, everything out of Toledo would be a "S" section these days..........
