One of those Hulcher (sp?) work trains with the cowled yellow Geep as power just went NB past MP 22.5 at 9:41 am.

And with the north wind I could hear the Hulcher train blowing and at the same time a SB blowing for all the road crossings in Pontiac and just now, at 9:47 am, Train 515 with CN 5746, rolled by, the engineer tooting to make sure I noticed the big road locomotive he had today.

At 11:05 am another identical Hulcher train went NB past MP 22.5.

L515 north through Royal Oak at 17:15 with a lengthy train. Had a CN SD75I today.

CN 5418, 5648 and 5652 on what looks like a late-running Train 371 slowly going by MP 22.5 at 6:05 pm.

L533S left Mount Clemens at 17:49. CN/GTW, several loaded boxcars and much larger than usual complement of intermodal traffic.

E271 by Mount Clemens depot at 18:00, running on 533's yellow signals. CN, empty racks for Flat Rock.

Thanks for the heads up GTW6401. Should be a fairly busy evening on the MTC, with L533 returning to PH and probably M384 thrown in as well.

Train 391 NB passed MP 22.5 just now at 7:41 pm with two CN's and a short train.

A local 513 just drifted down the Hill past MP 22.5. Didn't catch the power in the dark but it sounded like a GP38.

A SB freight went by shortly after 513 passed here.

At 5:57 am (Amtrak 351's usual time to pass my house) a short SB went by. Maybe the Budd inspection car? Amtrak followed it running about eight minutes late.

149 by 205 at 0655. He must have come off a stop at potterville as he was pulling hard and moving slow by here but got up to a good pace by the time the tail end went by. seemed like a long train and I didint see the power.

Train 515 with IC 6200 SB past MP 22.2 at 9:20 am.

M383 was by North Mount at 05:20.

M382 was by Mount Clemens depot at 09:30.

Tampers and ballast regulators have been working in the area for the last several days, including tamping the MOUNT siding. An army of CN maintainers and MOW workers along the line, and more CN trucks than cars on the road around here. That time of year...
