I'm guessing they were sold to LTEX, Lordstown, OH, for "Scrap!" Three of them aren't "Cowls!" CN 2101/2122 are standard cab ex CNW C40-8s, IC 2462 is ex LMS C40-8W! Good catches, but still very sad to be the end of these units! Soon there will be a "Funeral Train" with all of them I suppose!![]()

UPDATE: IC "Blue Devil" C40-8W #2462 is no longer at BC!!!!! I cannot figure out why! CN train M337 to Iowa! Did anyone here catch it leaving BC? It was spotted this morning (April 23) with a CN "Map Cowl" heading west in Griffith, IN! Screenshot from comment on Facebook® Canadian Railway Observation 3.0 (CRO):

Guess we are losing another one, CN C40-8 #2012! LansingRailfan, are they all parked with easy access? Or are they buried in BC yard? Is there a way to know if more are heading to MI from Canada? How many more can be rounded up? The "Funeral Train" is probably coming soon! Off to LTEX? What was the other CN "Cowl" in the screenshot with IC 2462? Maybe those are headed to Chicago Heights Processing® for "Scrapping!" Does anybody know more? As the late Jim Morrison of The Doors would sing..."This is the End!" WOW!!!!LansingRailFan wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 12:14 pmCowls in Battle Creek:Robertrains wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 2:43 amUPDATE: IC "Blue Devil" C40-8W #2462 is no longer at BC!!!!!
