10:35 - WB M397 with CN 3231/CN 3316 thru Mishawaka, IN. They came into Battle creek with two more cowls that are being stored in Battle Creek, CN 2122/CN 2452. IC 2462 was spotted east on a manifest thru Griffith yesterday as well.

116 passing MP 22.5 of the Holly out in front of Amtrak 355, which arrived about an hour and a half late today and maybe delayed leaving Pontiac because of its late arrival.

This looks to be the very end of CN/BCOL "Cowls!!!!" 
I'm guessing they were sold to LTEX, Lordstown, OH, for "Scrap!" Three of them aren't "Cowls!" CN 2101/2122 are standard cab ex CNW C40-8s, IC 2462 is ex LMS C40-8W! Good catches, but still very sad to be the end of these units! Soon there will be a "Funeral Train" with all of them I suppose!
UPDATE: IC "Blue Devil" C40-8W #2462 is no longer at BC!!!!! I cannot figure out why! CN train M337 to Iowa! Did anyone here catch it leaving BC? Not sure of the train number, CN 5708 with a lot of steel coils and coal hoppers by the fort St cam at 12:01 towards Detroit

Guess we are losing another one, CN C40-8 #2012! LansingRailfan, are they all parked with easy access? Or are they buried in BC yard? Is there a way to know if more are heading to MI from Canada? How many more can be rounded up? The "Funeral Train" is probably coming soon! Off to LTEX? What was the other CN "Cowl" in the screenshot with IC 2462? Maybe those are headed to Chicago Heights Processing® for "Scrapping!" Does anybody know more? As the late Jim Morrison of The Doors would sing..."This is the End!"
