Q327 at this time (11:00am) is inspecting his train just beyond the St Joseph Bridge for a possible stuck hand brake in the middle of his train that was reported by the Bridge Tender. Stuck brake was found on the 70th car of his 90 cars.

Unreleased handbrakes will be the cause of more then a few derailments and for no good reason other then some fools ruling by the FRA. Makes no sense at all.

Thanks for the update, Nathan. I’m currently at Buck Creek in Grandville waiting for it. It will be the first train of 2021 for me too.

What looks like K597 is at the north end of Rougemere Yard, with CSX 4299 + 4019 leading. At the south end of the yard the power for Q705/706 is idling, CSX 738 + 3211.

WB Q214-02 just turned south at Plymouth. CSX 377 leading, running light.

NB Q150 just turned east at Plymouth. CSX 764 + 111 double stacks + 18 singles.
