Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam @9:54am heading back to Kalamazoo with WAMX 4189 and WAMX 4206 both LHF leading 35 cars. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers and tank cars.

Z439-20 (Hughart Interchange Job with CSX) @ 9:45am reported to Rouge Tower of 28 cars. WAMX #3534 + WAMX #3531 + 28 cars. Tower reported they have to pick up 3 cars from one track

Z439-20 @ 10:10 is currently working inside Wyoming Yard

Z151-20 @ 11:10am heading eastbound from Plaster Creek with MQT #2043, MQT #2042, MQT #3406 (all Long Hood Forward) and 70 cars (55 loads and 15 empties). Manually and physically counted the loads and empties as Z151 passed me at Freeman Ave in Grand Rapids, MI

11:55 NB GDLK303 mp81 Wayland. Did not see the consist.

Was northbound through Byron Center at 12:16pm, WAMX 4125 solo, somewhere around 20 cars.

Grand Elk south through Byron Center at 4:14pm. WAMX 4125 and WAMX 4209, both LHF, with 23 cars. 9 tank cars, 10 covered hoppers, 2 open gons, and 2 more covered hoppers.

LSRC Z388S SB at Grand Blanc with LSRC 6342 leading. Empty coal train from storage.

Coal trains dried up about 2 months earlier than projected and most likely will not have anymore on LSRC.

Grand Elk @ 8:50 heading towards Elkhart Yard with WAMX #4189 + WAMX #4209 and 23 cars (5 open-top NS hoppers, 2-3 tankers, 2-4 boxcars, some covered hoppers and 3 open-top NS hoppers at rear)

LIRR is running again today. DCON ran yesterday.

Grand Elk @ 2:03pm is moving southbound through Wyoming 44th/54th area with a WAMX engine and loud horns heard clear as day. No visual on engines nor cars itself

Marquette Rail Z151-21 @ 2:13pm reported northbound at Fuller Junction with MQT #3391 leading

Grand elk south through Byron Center at 2:12pm with 2 locos and 12 cars, it matches! Wamx 4206 and 4125.

Late last week, the E&LS received a 105-car empty unit train for the elevator at Oconto Falls, WI.

It was made up of the maroon-ish AOKX covered hoppers.

On the CN, the train was NB with NS 9684/UP 5507. E&LS had a total of 147 cars to pick up that day from CN/Green Bay.

The empties are kept at Stiles Jct and they shuttle 21 cars at a time up to Oconto Falls.

Around the same time the Channing crew made several trips over several days down to Pembine and Iron Mountain before heading back to Channing. The scrap metal yard in Iron Mountain was very busy and needed switching multiple times.

Marquette Rail Z151-24 @ 9:46am copied an EC1 to proceed southbound from CGE 3.6 Turner St towards Wyoming Yard. MQT #3406 leading

Grand Elk Hughart Runner Z439-24 @ 10:05am waiting for a signal at Pleasant St to proceed westbound into CSX Wyoming Yard. WAMX #3534 + WAMX #3531 and 14 cars
