D705-05 westward between 06:07am/06:37am reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 480 axles (footage was stepped on). CSX engines #738 + #3211 (?) & 117 cars.
Correct on the 3211 being the second unit. 705 only had 67 cars by Howell when it ran in and out the siding around the 63 cars parked on the main that D707 sat off nearly a week ago now. And, still no D708 in Howell since Dec. 24th.
Need Tom to listen for a D901-04 today/tonight. Will be 4025 headed EB from GR running LHF light to Ensel. Will hook on with other power and work Asahi and GLC.

I gotta finish my healthcare paper work as Tonight is my first shift...kidding. But seriously, watch for the train tonight.

Edit: 4010, not 4025. 4025 was in Ensel before.

Whatever it takes to get more cars to Howell seeing D708 doesn't seem to be working anymore. Currently, GLC Z62405 is at Ann Pere finally to pick up the 63 cars parked on the main since last Thursday, and will replace it with 64 cars for CSX in the passing siding. Can see it already, D901 will probably park at least 75 more on the main, pick up the 64 GLC is now setting off and keep the main blocked for another week of 705-706 running thru the pass. This is actually fine with me as it keeps these trains running super slow beside the house instead of running at track speed. I doubt if the 705-706 crews will say the same thing. Must be ok with the TM.

Per Bangor chat, D90105 is on duty in Grand Rapids currently to go east and n80105 coal load to West Olive is on duty in chicago.

Earlier, per Landon, D70205 ran to Hamilton with CSXT 4010, then ran lite with the single loco from Holland to Grand Rapids around noon and left their loco there for D901 to take east. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv1f3OSaNtA

D901-05 @ 6:03pm eastward reported from mp CH146 with CSXT engine #4010 lite.
D901-05 @ 6:28pm eastward reported from Alto mp CH134.35
D901-05 @ 6:48pm eastward reported by the DD mp CH126.3 with 6 axles.
D901-05 @ 7:17pm eastward reported from DD mp CH111.
D901-05 @ 7:35pm eastward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 6 axles & 56 feet long.

(This is about the extent of the scanner's range. There are some more calls being heard from D901 but the mile post cannot be heard clearly).

Hi ya Jetlink, can you give a mile post for that area? My Time Table printout doesn't show Woodbury.

I had checked thru the scanner archives from 07:37am to 11:06am & couldn't hear anything in the area of mp CH115. The airwaves were being dominated by Rouge, D705 yarding, Q327, D801, Amtrak & W003 - any other calls out on the Plymouth sub may have been stepped on by them.

The signals at Woodbury are milepost CH 116.3 . It’s the m-66 crossing. I thought it may have been that a D707 was in the siding at lake o for D705. Then worked lake o and headed back east. Anyway, I was 1/4 mile from the tracks eating breakfast with grandma and heard horns; for both sets of crossings. But I didn’t go look. I’d have bet a Benjamin on it. Sounds like I’d be $100 bucks poorer too. Lol.

D901-5 east from Lansing at 23:35

8008 4010 & 83 cars

Current plan is to work Fowlerville, leave the GLC cars at Brighton and head back to Lansing with just the power.

Something just cleared Trowbridge at 23:42 according to CN Flint Sub ATCS - betting it's them.

Odd that they would leave the cars at Brighton considering that GLC came and picked up today. Maybe they don’t know that they did?
