Has GLC left TC yet, and does anyone have an estimate on when they'll be back thru Kingsley? Might go try to catch this one.

My wife told me she read on Facebook Grand Traverse 911 that S. Airport Rd. was blocked by a train expected to be 2-3 hrs. and this was supposed to be yesterday (tues). I haven't heard or read myself. Anyone know about this?

They were dropping ballast on the Grawn branch, and tied up that S. Airport crossing (not the other S Airport crossing). The 911 post did not say that the road was blocked for 2-3 hours, here's what is said:

" The Railroad is dealing with some debris on the tracks and maintenance issues in the area of Logans Landing. At this time, traffic is able to pass. However, BE PREPARED FOR SLOW OR STOPPED TRAFFIC for the next 1-2 hours. There is a possibility of intermittent road closures. 1pm
At this time, traffic is able to pass. However, BE PREPARED FOR SLOW OR STOPPED TRAFFIC for the next 1-2 hours. There is a possibility of intermittent road closures. 1pm"

"HOORAY!!! The roadway is clear. That was fast! 1:15pm"

So it was first posted at 1pm, and then updated 15 minutes later to say it was all clear. :)

Nothing seen or heard on the south end of Cadillac this morning. Assuming northbound towards Petoskey.

Middleton run today. From my best guess, they are in or close to Middleton now.

Heard them going through Fife Lake this morning. Faint horn from the other end of town, I was clear down by Karly's Hill
