Amtrak will have the usual... and marquette will not be down here till 3:30 am with four engines! 3001-3003 and 2652! so those daring enough head on out to catch the mighty marquette.
You say trestle... I say Trussell!!!

Z151-23
85 Cars
GR YD LMT 0332
Broke the Plaster Creek barrier at 0405
GMTX 2652
GLLX 3001
GLLX 3003
GLLX 3002

Pulled into 12, doubled to 14.

pickup was 1 in 28, then 20 to 18. 60+ with 7 black tanks on the rear: Woot, did you build that?

After some tweaking with their pickup, crew should highball shorty after 0530. (crosses fingers). Dropping 4 at Vans, deadhead to Baldwin (or wherever HOS strikes!!)

Crew noticed a "unit train" at GRE. Inbound or out, not sure. Keep an eye on that one...

Yard is still full of trains. X741? in 6 track with SOO power, Q327 apparently still sitting in the high line. Coal train on 2 track. 334? on 4.

Lots of trains, any crews? I'll start Monday. Gives me 3 days of rules learning! Doc, sign me up!

Z151 crossed Ann Street at 6:30AM. The 24 is out of the house and will be highballing shortly for a straight shot to King. Very little switching at King and they expect to be past Ada WB by 11. Hopefully, US Trackworks will be there shortly afterwards to strip the rail & ties off the bridge. Not sure when the bridge will be removed at this time.

Y321 was a long one before the drop at fuller... lots of grain cars out front and one random tanker of sulfuric acid? Anyway, they had about 30 cars goin north to fuller.
This is my life. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

D708 and D709 start and end at Ensel, Monday through Friday IIRC.

Q327 has a fairly rare CSX #4696 SD70M leading. Normally these units are assigned to Florida.

the 2nd unit was a C 40-8 either that one or the SD70m was smoking like an old Alco when it went by me

Please do not poke at the ramp agent because he has the power to make your vacation
memorable or miserable. It all depends on what flight you bags go on.
