L303-03 @ 11:13 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #69 + #4008 & 140 cars (70 loads + 70 empties) @ 10,957 tons & 7,548 feet long. He’s about to start doubling up his train & will have work in Lansing.

M327-11 @ 06:59 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engine #127 + CN engine #2630 (elephant style) & 125 cars (39 loads + 86 empties) @ 7,890 tons & 7,277 feet long. They wereare tripling up their train at that time. They had profile issues & were to run with 170 cars but the tonnage was not properly spaced. Engineer said if the cars had been properly arranged, they could have taken all 170 of them.

M327-11 with CSX 127 & CN 2630 slowly moving west thru Lamar. 08:15 Getting conductor on board at Ivanrest. 08:25 throttling up past Ivanrest west parallel the repaved Chicago Drive, waiting for a signal at MP 6 (ddouugghh)! Not sure why the train has stopped (sorry, I have no scanner). Q327-11 thru Grandville @ 09:02 with it's land barge.
