Hearing CSX had some "big screwup" with a coal train around Holland. D700 isn't running, and Michigan Shore Z627 won't be headed to Holland either today.

It figures Holland trains aren't running as I had specifically set some time aside this sunny morning to scout for trains....

No sign of an obvious screwup between Riley and the depot, maybe it is further north up the Fremont sub. In the meantime, at 0910, Y121 arrived at Waverly with two gons and the caboose from Padnos. They have CSXT 2736.

1000 hrs: CSX Y121 is now heading down the Hamilton Branch with two bulkhead lumber loads.

Appears a D800 job is down at Wells, going to bring a coal train up in two sections, reassemble at Saugatuck, then bring them to West Olive. Guess that snafu on the hill is why D700 got cancelled, and why Z627 isn't going to Holland to pickup a lack of cars.

The first half of the train was heading up Saugatuck Hill at 1100hrs with two BNSFs for power. 5991 was the leader I think.

Also, I noted two NS coil cars in Waverly Yard. Is CSX keeping cars destined for Arlington in Holland so as to free up space at Wyoming?
