Unread post by Raildudes dad »

No change at the GRE since Wednesday, looks like a crew going on duty. Couldn't see what was on 371.

Tlout, your lite power is D801 going to Grand Junction to shove N90326 up the hill. Believe BNSF 8952 leading N903. N903 is now at Saugatuck so should be by you very soon northbound into Holland.
Haven't heard anything from D700 yet today. q32628 got in early this morning, and q32727 got annulled last night it sounds like.

Edits: GRE called for an westbound signal at Fuller at 1250.

Two out of three for lunch. Scored cheap gas, and saw BP raising the price as I left, got taco town, but no e949. Maintenance in the way is working around waverly yard, so e949 is stopped near tlouts position.

E949-26 through Stevensville around 4:20pm.

D700-28 with CSXT 6435 and CSXT 2210 is currently working at Technisand near Bridgman. They told the RN dispatcher that they would need a recrew and would probably make it as far as Riverside.

Took the scenic route on the way home from KGRR today and caught east bound lite engine csx 2671; running long hood forward as D708 28 in Alto, Elmdale, Clarksville, Lake O (also caught PTI driver and crew change), and Woodbury. Cleared Woodbury at about EST 17:57. They have an EC1 to Ensel eastbound on the main and permission to open the switch at Logan and also permission to enter the yard on signal indication.

G879-25 west at Seymour at 2037. Sounded like CSX 760 leading. Don't know if they are light power or another train for MQT.
Q327 is also done with their airtest at the same time and should be going to Waverly for Amtrak. CSX 8541 leading.

Edit: G879 is another train for MQT. Tying the train down in 37 Track with yard air. Going over the plant at Lamar and back down the Service Track. Tie onto the 7530 that will be leaving later/tomorrow on a G010-29.

Train passing through Woodbury at 21:15. Train ID E945. Released EC1 at 9:31. RN holding them at Seymour because they won't fit at pleasant street.

Y303 is out and about switching the west side of town again. Sounds like they are working Tower Automotive tonight on the way to Ford Heater.
