I like how the composition fits. Colors are excellent.. i'd clone out those wires to the right, but good in my book. Use Nevets wide angle lens?

I dunno but that's a great shot Mike. The sky is dramatic. It would be even more picture perfect without the wires on the right though for your own collection.

I shot that one last year with Tyler. I used my 18-55 lens that comes with the canon. Those skys were the front edge to a rarity in the UP, a tornadic storm system that passed a few hours later. I figured the angle and the sky would have over looked the fact that the sun was in the wrong spot.

The sky is great, so why include all that boring ground in the composition? May have been a mis-click reason. It's a bad crop in my book.

I think I'd try some cropping too. Get rid of some of the foreground and the shrubbery on the left. I think the green distracts from the power of the blue and white in the sky. The sky is quite dramatic so I'd keep all that. I don't find the sun angle to be a problem at all. I don't even mind the wires.
