Overview

  • The train is based in Ludington, Michigan
  • It is the main road freight between Ludington and Baldwin, handling all overhead traffic
  • Switches all customers between Ludington and Baldwin

Schedule

Call time 2000 ET. Based in Ludington, it heads east with all outbound traffic to Baldwin to meet up with the Bald Eagle. Afterwards, it heads back west. In the process, they switch all customers as needed.

Frequency: Daily. Works the Ludington Yard only on Saturday

Power

Generally, the train uses the same power as the Ludington Yard job. However, power may be rotated out at Baldwin as needed. Typically, the train is powered by one or two of the railroad's GP units, based on one GP38-2s and as needed, the GP10.
