This is cool LansingRailfan!!!!    I can send my friend Roger (has a loaned 35mm Canon®) to the Michigan Road overpass, Port Huron, to photograph this train!!!! OK, it shall keep going east! What time is 396 expected in PH? Do they work Durand or Flint? I know it can be a few hours! It should be before dark!

This afternoon at approximately noon and 2:30 a pair of southbounds went down the Mt. Clemens Sub. The first was a general freight but the second was either a unit train of vehicle racks or close to it.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Holly Subdivision Report for Sunday:

251 went by around 11:45 am. He didn't seem to be 3000 feet long and was flying.

116 went past around 1:30 pm. Racks then stacks.

507 and Amtrak 355 passed each other around Opdyke Road at 5:35 pm. 507 was also flying by with a short train, double stacks on the rear.

508 just went flying by at 6:30 pm with a shorter than usual train. Only saw one coiled steel car. Either the containers were on the headend or no containers today, can't remember.

Caught 508 in Durand - no intermodal today, just mixed up front and autoracks on back. I coulda swore I saw several coil cars scattered through the train, but maybe I'm remembering wrong.

I'll make an assumption you could have. The 508 I saw on Wednesday was also without intermodal and also had coils
