L301-26 @ 11:50 had Job Briefing with RN Dispatcher in Grand Rapids, MI: CSX #8017 with 39 cars (12 Loads and 27 empties) at 2,244 tons and 2,120 ft long. He’s ready to depart and head westbound to 112th Waverly mp 22.84, than to Kirk mp 70.2 and Coloma mp 75.8 with a runaround back to GR.

I would assume he is working a Hartford as well but didn’t say.

Was not aware there was no L305 today until I heard it from Adam, but explains why I have not heard them out there somewhere.

Probably the same reason G126 came via Chicago. Have yet to hear anything from L305 today either. L303 is approaching Howell at 16:42.

21:33 - G801-26 calling dispatch from Grand Ledge. They will head west to Grand Rapids engine-lite to wye the power (83 and 7776).
22:18 - DD at CH 104.3 reported 12 axles. In addition, I thought I had heard the crew mention they would be a DPU train, then mention one of their engines was incapable. In further research neither 83 nor 7776 have the DPU sticker, at least according to the clear pictures I could find. Both are YN3 in one form or another.
01:50 - G801-26 reporting from Grand Ledge, mentioned "an hour and a half, two hours minimum" when asked about their departure time.

An empty E80321 is currently sitting under I-96 with no power. This will likely be one of, if not the last coal train to see the rails of the Saginaw sub

Updating on this post. Still no power, however there is a second cut of coal cars sitting in the southwest section of the yard in Wixom, MI. unsure what will happen with it. I'm also not sure if the consumers energy plant has anymore empty cuts. If anyone has any knowledge on plans for acquiring power to take these cuts back to Cicero, please let me know.

Could they send these cars to Port Sheldon instead of back to Cicero IL.
